You’ve been nicknamed “eagle eyes” — your attention to detail is that impressive. WHAT YOU’LL DO Report to the Supervisor, Billing. Provide service to Insurance Agency on billing related matters. Provide service to insurance customers on payment and billing related matters. Responsible for the calculation, preparation and issue of billing documents. Process and review payments, cancellations, cash reversals, and related tasks for accuracy. Ensure information adheres to corporate policies and procedures. Respond to internal staff inquiries, maintain good relations and solve problems. Produce accurate financial reports and operational information; when asked, develop, produce and maintain ad hoc and custom reports. Perform related clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing and photocopying. WHAT YOU’VE DONE You have a high school diploma and post-secondary education in accounting. If your education is in something else, tell us how it will benefit you in this role. You have a minimum of one year of accounting experience. You're a wiz with Microsoft Office Suite. You are computer literate with a demonstrated ability to adapt to new systems.
