About the role
Position: Project Manager-Business Process Improvement Location: Brampton, ON — Hybrid, 4 days onsite per week Duration: Contract Rate: $35/hour to $40/hour We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Project Manager to lead finance-related projects and business process improvement initiatives within an Enterprise Business Services environment. Key Responsibilities Manage projects from initiation through implementation and closure Define project scope, timelines, milestones, budgets, risks, and deliverables Lead projects using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies Facilitate scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, project meetings, and stakeholder reviews Manage and prioritize project backlogs using Jira and Kanban boards Partner with Finance, IT, business teams, and external vendors Analyze and improve finance processes, including: Procure-to-Pay Order-to-Cash Inventory Support financial system implementations and process-transformation initiatives Develop governance models, templates, policies, and project-management best practices Communicate project status, risks, issues, and changes to senior stakeholders Support change management and adoption of new systems and processes Key Requirements PMP certification is mandatory 3–5+ years of Project Management, business process improvement, or business transformation experience Experience managing large-scale projects and process improvement initiatives Strong understanding of finance processes and systems Advanced experience with Jira, Confluence, Kanban, and MS Project Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Experience with SAP or Workday Financials is an asset Lean Six Sigma or Scrum Master certification is an asset Retail industry experience is strongly preferred Must be comfortable working onsite in Brampton four days per week
