About the role

City Homemakers Service Society is currently seeking applications for the positionof Bookkeeper/Payroll Administrator. This position reports directly to theExecutive Director of the Agency. Duties of this position will include, but not belimited to, the financial operations of the agency.Requirements:? Grade 12 or equivalent? Business Computer Applications Program certificate or diploma from anapproved business college and at least three years bookkeeping experience? Experience in computerized payroll and accounting programs? Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills? Ability to work in a fast paced/multi task environment and able to adapt to achanging work environment? Must possess the ability to prioritize and be able to work with minimumsupervision? Ability to take on call duties on a rotational basis? Knowledge of Alayacare scheduling system a definite asset? Knowledge of the Home Care Nova Scotia program?
