About the role

Infrastructure Ontario (IO), an Ontario crown corporation, provides a wide range of services to support the Ontario government’s initiative to modernize and maximize the value of public infrastructure and realty. Position Purpose: The Senior Manager, Finance plays a critical role in supporting finance modernization initiatives, including preparation for and implementation of a new ERP system, while ensuring continuity of core accounting and financial reporting functions. The role strengthens analytical reporting and decision support, redesigns key financial processes to improve transparency and resource planning and delivers enterprise-wide financial insights. What You Will Do: Provide leadership and oversight to core accounting and financial reporting activities to ensure continuity of operations. Support the redesign of time entry reporting and resource planning processes to improve consistency, transparency, and decision usefulness. Act as a key finance lead supporting ERP preparation and implementation, including process design, data readiness, testing, validation, and business readiness activities. Assess and mitigate impact of system changes on financial processes, reporting, and internal controls. Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports in accordance with accounting standards, policies, and internal controls. Resolve complex accounting and reporting issues through sound professional judgment and cross-functional collaboration. Review and improve financial processes, policies, controls, and standard operating procedures. Design and deliver project-level, business-line, and enterprise-wide financial analysis to support decision-making. Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders and senior leaders. Act as a key contact for internal and external auditors to ensure completion of audits in a timely manner. What We Are Looking For: CPA designation. Extensive experience in financial reporting, accounting, and audit-facing roles. Strong experience resolving complex accounting and reporting issues using professional judgment. Experience leading or supporting finance system modernization or ERP implementations (experience with Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or OneStream considered an asset) Demonstrated capability in financial process redesign and governance enhancement. Advanced analytical skills with the ability to provide decision-ready financial insights. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities during periods of transition. We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $142,000 (M2 level), pay will align with skills, knowledge and experience of the candidate.
