Overview Environmental 360 Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Senior Fixed Assets and Lease Analyst to join its onsite Corporate Accounting team in Aurora. E360 requires a detail-oriented accounting professional to own the full fixed asset and lease accounting cycle across all 100+ entities. This is an individual contributor role requiring a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in fixed assets and lease administration, with demonstrated experience building subledgers, continuity schedules, and budget-versus-actual analyses in a multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities Build and maintain the fixed asset subledger in Sage 300, ensuring alignment with the general ledger across all 100+ locations Identify whether each newly acquired asset was leased or purchased and classify accordingly, including which location it was assigned to and correct account coding Maintain and update depreciation and accumulated amortization schedules monthly for all asset classes across all entities Prepare and maintain fixed asset continuity schedules, reconciling to the general ledger each reporting period Administer the full lease portfolio across all locations, ensuring operating and finance leases are properly recorded, amortized, and reconciled in accordance with applicable standards Maintain lease continuity schedules and liaise with operations and legal teams to ensure new agreements are captured and accounted for on a timely basis Work closely with the Fleet team to track vehicle and equipment acquisitions, disposals, and transfers, serving as the primary accounting point of contact for all asset-related matters Prepare and maintain budget-versus-actual schedules for fixed assets and lease costs; conduct variance analysis and provide clear reconciliations or written explanations where variances exist Participate in regular cross-functional meetings to present asset and lease activity, ensure budget alignment, and escalate issues with supporting analysis Complete all fixed asset and lease-related month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting working papers within close timelines Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process by providing projected depreciation, amortization, and capital expenditure data Assist in internal and external audits by preparing audit-ready schedules and documentation for all fixed asset and lease records Identify and implement process improvements related to fixed asset and lease workflows; document SOPs to support consistency and scalability

Qualifications CPA designation completed or in progress is preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with a dedicated focus on fixed assets and lease accounting Demonstrated experience building and maintaining fixed asset subledgers, continuity schedules, and depreciation and amortization schedules Strong working knowledge of lease accounting, including operating vs. finance lease classification, right-of-use assets, and lease liability amortization Experience in a multi-entity or multi-location corporate accounting environment Strong understanding of ASPE and corporate-level financial reporting requirements Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems; Sage 300 experience is strongly preferred High attention to detail with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with corporate, fleet, and operational teams Experience in waste management, environmental services, field services, or construction is an asset Experience with Sage Enterprise Intelligence (SEI) is an asset Proactive problem-solving mentality with the ability to identify and resolve issues early Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

Salary: 70,000 - 85,000
