We’re Hiring a Senior Analyst, Pharmacy Pricing Reporting directly to the Manager, Pharmacy Pricing, the incumbent is responsible for driving the pharmacy business through pricing initiatives and overseeing the implementation of legislative or contractual pricing changes. The Manager, Pharmacy Pricing provides support to, and liaises directly with, stores, internal departments and management teams regarding pharmacy pricing initiatives, issues and opportunities. Duties: Lead the implementation of legislative and contractual pricing changes and play a major role in key strategic pricing initiatives Provide insights and recommendations on the impact to the business of pricing changes, third party contracts and regulatory changes through pricing research, analysis and modelling (as detailed as store level and product level) Compile data from multiple sources and extrapolate appropriate information to analyze current pricing position, identify and evaluate potential opportunities for pricing adjustments Act as Pharmacy Pricing Subject Matter Expert in resolving and managing pricing specific issues and Collaborate with relevant stakeholders (e.g. Regional Resources, Pharmacy Operations, Pharmacy Professional Affairs, Payor Management and Pharmacy Procurement) on various pricing initiatives Additional project work may be assigned as the need arises Skills and Experience: Post-secondary education equivalent to a university degree in accounting, business or economics Retail pharmacy experienced preferred Strong communication and presentation skills ­ the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing to audiences with varying degrees of seniority High level of initiative to take projects from start to finish with minimal supervision Ability to set and prioritize work to meet required deadlines amid competing demands Advanced knowledge of MS Office software applications, Microstrategy (or comparable Business Intelligence software) and relational database/SQL Knowledge of Pharmacy Dispensing software (Healthwatch, Kroll etc.) an asset Why work at Shoppers Drug Mart?
