A career as a risk Governance Advisor in the Technology, Cybersecurity and Data risk Management team at National Bank means acting as a technology, cybersecurity and data risk governance specialist. Your role will allow you to have a concrete impact on the strength and resilience of the organisation thanks to your expertise in governance, risk management and regulatory environment. You will work in a strategic context where your judgement and analytical skills will contribute directly to improving risk management practises. Your job Oversee the development and updating of technology, cyber and data risk management policies, standards and processes Define and deploy training and awareness initiatives for stakeholders Monitor risks and ensure alignment of internal controls with regulatory requirements Produce indicators, dashboards and analyses to support decision-making Analyze major incidents, identify causes and follow up on action plans Support and influence stakeholders in terms of risk governance and compliance Your team The Vice-President – Technology, Cybersecurity and Data risk Management is a team of specialists who work agile, proactive and collaborative to anticipate issues and improve practises on an ongoing basis. Within the Technology, Cybersecurity and Data risk Management sector, you are part of a committed team and report to a senior management. Prerequisites Relevant bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience; OR master’s degree and 6 years of experience in technology, cybersecurity or data risk management Solid experience in risk governance in complex and regulated environments Excellent knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., OSFI, AMF) Proficiency in the guidelines governing technological and operational risks (E.G. B-13, B-10, E-21, A-1) Knowledge of recognised cybersecurity and governance repositories (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, COBIT) Knowledge in Audit, Compliance or Financial sector experience Professional certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CISSP) is a plus.
Languages: French, English Reason to require this language: you will need to collaborate with a regulator/authority/government body outside Quebec.
