Perhaps you are already a RIBO-licensed insurance professional looking for stronger markets, better support and more room to grow. Or perhaps you have a successful background in sales and are ready to build a rewarding career in the insurance industry.

WellCare Insurance Oakville North is expanding, and we are looking for an ambitious Insurance Sales Producer to develop a personal and commercial insurance portfolio with our team.

We Welcome Applications From

RIBO-licensed insurance professionals; OTL-licensed professionals interested in obtaining their RIBO license; and experienced sales professionals who are prepared to complete the required education and licensing process.

This is not a traditional service-only position. It is an opportunity for someone who wants to build a meaningful book of business, develop strong referral partnerships and grow alongside a new Oakville branch.

You may already have an established network or book of business, or you may be ready to build one with the right training, mentorship, tools and market access.

Expected compensation: $60,000–$120,000 annually, based on production and performance. Compensation is commission-based and is not capped.

Commission structure: Once licensed and authorized to sell insurance, Producers earn 55% of the brokerage commission generated on eligible new business and renewals. Compensation is entirely performance-based, with no cap on earning potential. Full commission details, eligibility requirements and payment terms will be reviewed during the interview process.

Candidates who are not currently licensed must successfully complete all required education, examination, registration and licensing requirements before independently advising clients, quoting coverage or selling insurance.

What You’ll Be Doing

Once Appropriately Licensed And Trained, You Will

Develop new business through networking, referrals, prospecting and centers of influence Build relationships with mortgage professionals, real estate professionals, financial advisors, dealerships, business owners and other referral partners Respond to new opportunities promptly and follow up consistently Quote, present and sell personal and commercial insurance solutions Identify client needs and clearly explain coverage recommendations Cross-sell and upsell appropriate insurance products Work with underwriting partners Maintain accurate client and prospect records Manage, retain and grow your book of business Deliver responsive, knowledgeable and professional client service

Candidates who are working toward their license will focus initially on training, professional development, prospecting strategies and other activities permitted within licensing requirements.

Who We’re Looking For

You May Be a Strong Fit If You

Hold an active RIBO or OTL license; or Have a proven background in sales and are willing to obtain your RIBO license Have experience in insurance, financial services, automotive sales, real estate, telecommunications, business development or another results-driven sales environment Are confident creating new opportunities and asking for referrals Enjoy networking and developing long-term professional relationships Communicate professionally by phone, email, video and in person Are organized and able to manage multiple prospects and follow-ups Take ownership of your performance and results Are motivated by commission-based compensation Are willing to study, learn and complete the licensing process Care about protecting clients—not simply offering the lowest price Want to grow within a professional, supportive and entrepreneurial environment

Insurance experience is an asset but is not required for candidates with strong, demonstrated sales experience.

Experience with Power Broker and Applied Rating Services is also considered an asset.
