Fully Remote | Canada We are partnering with a growing Canadian organization with operations across Canada and the United States to recruit a Payroll Administrator. This is a hands-on role combining Canadian and U.S. payroll administration with broader HR support and oversight of certain transactional finance activities. Working closely with Finance and HR, the Payroll Administrator will help ensure payroll accuracy, support employees and coordinate with an offshore AP/AR team. The position is fully remote and is well suited to someone who is autonomous, highly organized and comfortable working in a growing environment where processes continue to evolve. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate payroll activities across Canada and the United States, including Québec. Process and validate employee changes, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, bonuses, leaves and other payroll adjustments. Review payroll information and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Support year-end payroll activities and required documentation. Coordinate with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders as required. Support employee benefits administration and payroll-related inquiries. Maintain accurate employee information and documentation within HR and payroll systems. Support broader HR administration, including onboarding, offboarding and employee changes. Oversee and coordinate AP/AR activities performed by an offshore team in India, ensuring appropriate follow-up, accuracy and communication with the Canadian business. Identify opportunities to improve payroll, HR and administrative processes. Work closely with Finance and HR to ensure information is accurate, complete and delivered on time. Profile Solid hands-on experience with Canadian payroll, including Québec. Experience supporting or administering U.S. payroll. Good understanding of payroll compliance, deductions, taxable benefits and employee changes. Experience with payroll reconciliations and year-end activities. Exposure to benefits and HR administration. General understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable. Comfortable coordinating work with remote or offshore teams. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information. Highly autonomous and comfortable managing priorities in a fully remote environment. Strong Excel skills. Payroll certification or related training is an asset. Bilingual in French and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, colleagues and external partners across Canada and the United States. Work Environment 100% remote. Coordonner les activités avec les fournisseurs externes de paie et les différentes parties prenantes internes. Soutenir l'administration des avantages sociaux et répondre aux questions liées à la paie. Maintenir l'exactitude des informations et de la documentation des employés dans les systèmes RH et de paie. Soutenir l'administration RH, notamment l'intégration, les départs et les changements aux dossiers employés. Superviser et coordonner les activités de comptes fournisseurs et comptes clients (AP/AR) effectuées par une équipe située en Inde, en assurant le suivi, l'exactitude et la communication avec l'organisation canadienne. Identifier des occasions d'améliorer les processus de paie, RH et administratifs. Profil recherché Solide expérience pratique en paie canadienne, incluant le Québec. Expérience en soutien ou en administration de la paie américaine. Bonne compréhension de la conformité en matière de paie, des déductions, des avantages imposables et des changements aux dossiers employés. Expérience avec les conciliations de paie et les activités de fin d'année. Expérience en administration des avantages sociaux et en soutien RH. Bonne compréhension générale des comptes fournisseurs et des comptes clients. À l'aise de coordonner le travail d'équipes à distance ou à l'international. Grande rigueur et capacité à traiter de l'information confidentielle. Très autonome et capable de gérer plusieurs priorités dans un environnement entièrement à distance. Bonne maîtrise d'Excel. Une certification en paie ou une formation connexe constitue un atout. Bilingue français et anglais, avec la capacité de communiquer efficacement avec des employés, collègues et partenaires externes au Canada et aux États-Unis.
