Manage complex inventory accounting, deferred revenue, cost allocation, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis as part of the month-end close. Support financial statement preparation and external audits, while improving accounting processes, systems, and controls during the transition from QuickBooks to NetSuite and collaborating with teams across the organization.

Lead monthly and annual financial close, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, audit coordination, and accounting team operations across Ontario entities. Support operational decision-making through budgets, forecasts, cost and profitability analysis, dashboards, risk recommendations, and automation of finance processes.

Lead the company’s accounting and financial operations, including monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, payroll, tax filings, and internal controls. Analyze land and lot opportunities, manage construction project budgets and loan funding draws, support financial close processes, and oversee one direct report.

Manage the company’s day-to-day full-cycle bookkeeping, including payables, receivables, general ledger, reconciliations, reporting, remittances, payroll support, and inventory accounting. Support the transition to QuickBooks, improve accounting processes, and coordinate with external accountants and other stakeholders.
