About the Role Davidson is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Public Company Audit Practice. This role offers hands-on exposure to a wide range of public company clients across dynamic and fast-growing industries. What You’ll Be Doing No two days look the same, but your core responsibilities will include: Leading all phases of audit engagements—from planning and execution through to completion—across a diverse portfolio of clients Preparing clear, accurate audit documentation in accordance with firm methodology and professional standards Researching and resolving complex accounting and financial reporting issues, including the practical application of IFRS, US GAAP, and auditing standards Acting as a key point of contact for clients, proactively identifying issues and delivering thoughtful, value-added recommendations Mentoring and supporting junior team members while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality audit services What You’ll Bring You’re more than your credentials—you’re collaborative, detail-oriented, and ready to grow. Ideally, you bring: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, plus a CPA designation (or CFE completion with active progress toward designation) 2–3 years of public practice audit and accounting experience, with meaningful exposure to client engagements A solid working knowledge of IFRS and auditing standards, with the ability to apply them in real-world scenarios Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with comfort managing multiple priorities using tools such as Caseware, MS Office, and emerging technologies What’s in It for You? Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a CPA designation or be in active progress toward one. Additionally, 2–3 years of public practice audit experience and a strong working knowledge of IFRS and auditing standards are required.
