The Opportunity We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant, Financial Accounting & Reporting to join our Internal Risk Controls team in Toronto, Ontario. The role is a permanent hybrid position. This posting is for an existing position vacancy. As a Specialist Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, accounting consolidation, and performance reporting activities across the organization. This position requires a strong technical accounting background combined with exceptional stakeholder management skills, as the successful candidate will work closely with business leaders, external auditors, and cross-functional teams. Additionally, in this position you will: Prepare and support the delivery of financial statements and consolidated reporting packages. Contribute to accounting consolidation and financial close activities Support the preparation of business performance and management reporting materials. Partner closely with internal stakeholders to provide accurate, timely, and insightful financial information. Ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of financial reporting processes and deliverables. Excellent verbal and written communication skills High level of professionalism and confidence when engaging with senior stakeholders and auditors. Proactive, collaborative, and relationship-oriented approach. Interest in technology, digital transformation, and AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
