Up With Women / Exponenti'elles

Up With Women is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping women and gender diverse individuals experiencing low income build sustainable, prosperous careers and businesses with the aim of permanently exiting poverty. What we do: Up With Women clients undergo a year-long intensive program of strategic career development. Our program consists of bi-weekly career coaching, group development, highly-focused workshops, and wraparound support. Why we do it: Talented women and gender diverse individuals are falling through the cracks. Many of the clients we serve have experienced career interruptions due to life events, such as violence, health crisis, and discrimination. Once they are able to return to work, they often find that the job opportunities are not there as even a short employment gap of four months can significantly reduce the chance of receiving a call back for a job opportunity.
