The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada features a traditional and co-operative education undergraduate program and a course-based and research-based graduate program. There are about 700 undergraduate students and more than 250 graduate students. Our Department has enjoyed consistently strong growth in student enrolment and more than 20% increase year-over-year in external research funding. Our professors and researchers are internationally-known experts who serve their communities in the creation and advancement of knowledge as researchers, scientific journal editors, and Fellows of technical and scientific organizations.

The successful candidate will teach accounting courses in undergraduate and graduate programs while conducting and publishing high-quality research in top-tier accounting journals. Additionally, they will contribute to departmental service and play an active role in the development of the PhD program.
