Salary Range: $60,000–$67,000/year What You'll Do: Payroll & Benefits Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time — wages, salaries, bonuses, and deductions Review timesheets, maintain payroll records, and conduct regular payroll audits Handle statutory remittances (income tax, CPP, EI, Employer Health Tax, WCB) Administer benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, and reconciliations Support employees with payroll/benefits questions and ADP guidance Lead year-end payroll activities, including T4 prep and reconciliations Accounting Support Prepare and post payroll journal entries, accruals, and month-end entries Reconcile payroll, benefit, and general ledger accounts Support month-end/year-end close and provide audit documentation Prepare payroll and accounting reports for management AP/AR Backup Support Assist with invoice entry, coding, vendor reviews, and payment prep Support customer invoicing, payment application, and collections follow-up Help resolve vendor/customer inquiries alongside the Finance team Administrative Maintain organized payroll and departmental records Coordinate criminal record checks and log results in ADP Provide general administrative and reporting support as needed What You Bring: 2+ years of payroll, benefits, or accounting experience, including ownership of payroll accuracy and remittances PCP (Payroll Compliance Professional) certification preferred Post-secondary education in payroll, accounting, or business administration is a plus Solid understanding of payroll legislation and accounting principles Advanced attention to detail Strong Excel skills; Microsoft Office proficiency Experience with ADP or similar system (required) and Business Central (preferred) High accuracy, discretion, and organization — this role handles confidential info daily Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced office Good to Know: Location: Edmonton Head Office (on-site) Salary: $60,000–$67,000/year Schedule: Full-time, salaried Physical: Standard office environment; occasional lifting up to 20 lbs; occasional site/meeting travel Reports to: Controller Accepting Applications Until: September 18, 2026 or until position is filled.
