Position Overview: As thePayroll Administrator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our Canadian employees are paid accurately and on time. You’ll manage payroll processing, maintain detailed records, and partner closely with HR, Finance, and Operations to support a smooth and compliant payroll function. Location: Dartmouth, NS Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm Type: In-office Responsibilities Process Canadian payroll accurately and on schedule Ensure compliance with Federal and Provincial payroll regulations (Quebec knowledge is an asset) Review payroll data, investigate discrepancies, and make necessary corrections Prepare payroll reports for internal teams Support year-end activities, including T4 and RL-1 preparation Maintain accurate employee payroll records, deductions, and garnishments Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and clarity Provide payroll data and support to HR and Finance as needed Qualifications Post-secondary education in a related field; PCP designation is an asset Minimum 1 year of payroll or general office experience Working knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation Experience with payroll systems (Payworks considered an asset) Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills High attention to detail and accuracy Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information Ability to work independently while contributing to a close-knit team If you’re looking to grow your payroll career in a supportive, team-oriented environment, we’d love to hear from you. #INDS-HP
