Senior Tax Accountant Location: Toronto, ON Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite Join a Growing Public Accounting Firm We're partnering with a respected small-to-mid-sized CPA firm in Toronto that is looking to add a Senior Tax Accountant to its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys working directly with clients, taking ownership of engagements, and building a long-term career within a collaborative public accounting environment. You'll gain exposure to a diverse client base while working alongside experienced Partners and Managers who are invested in your professional development. What You'll Be Doing Prepare and review corporate, personal, trust, and partnership tax returns. Assist with tax planning and identify opportunities to minimize client tax liabilities. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor. Research and resolve complex tax issues while ensuring compliance with current tax legislation. Support CRA audits and respond to client tax inquiries. Mentor and review the work of junior staff members. Collaborate with Partners and Managers on a variety of tax engagements and special projects. What We're Looking For 2+ years of public accounting tax experience in a Canadian CPA firm. Experience preparing and reviewing corporate and personal tax returns. Strong understanding of Canadian tax legislation. Progress toward or completion of the CPA designation is considered a strong asset. Excellent communication and client relationship skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines during busy season. Experience with CaseWare, TaxPrep, Profile, or similar tax software is an asset.
