Job summary
The Senior Portfolio Manager Operations oversees the administration of insurance and/or reinsurance accounts and contracts, from establishing and maintaining contractual data, processing the insurance and/or reinsurance account bookings, claims handling and manage the related cash flow. He/she also supports the underwriters in administrative activities related to the underwriting process. The Senior Portfolio manager is responsible for managing the administration of the more complex treaty/contracts, training team members and reviewing the work of Portfolio Managers during the quarterly close process. Senior Portfolio manager will be responsible for all key technical accounting reconciliations and analysis and liaising with Closing and Finance teams. Responsible for expertise in accounting and reporting and be capable of demonstrating knowledge of the retrocession business and products. Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business with 6-10 years of experience in reinsurance accounting and underwriting assistance. Must possess advanced analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel, Power Query, and financial reporting tools.
