Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze general ledger accounts including balance sheets, income statements, and account reconciliations. Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and financial reporting. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and working papers for external accountants. Ensure compliance with Canadian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Investigate and resolve discrepancies or variances in financial data. Contribute to financial analysis including variance analysis. Collaborate with team members and operational departments to resolve accounting-related issues. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and support operational efficiency. Other related duties as required. Skills and Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in full-cycle accounting, with increasing levels of responsibility over time. Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word. Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar accounting software is an asset.
