The Role: We’re looking for a Payroll Accounting Assistant to join our growing Canadian Operations team! In this role, you will provide exceptional service to clients as you assist them with all payroll related inquiries through the below key responsibilities. Kindly note this position is for an existing role which we are actively hiring for. Location: This position is non-remote full time based at our office in Vancouver, BC. Responsibilities: Help clients with payroll inquiries or concerns via Email Prepare payment files for clients and vendors Test payroll inputs against expected results to ensure the onboarding data is entered correctly Assist with ROE's and T4's Assist in the preparation and submission of government remittance payments Assist with any new duties that arise Why Push? Job type: Full-time (in-person) Salary: $46,000 - 48,000 CAD Annually Requirements: You have 1+ years of accounting experience (payroll experience is preferred) You have a post-secondary diploma or degree in Accounting You are extremely proficient with software systems including MS Word and MS Excel You pride yourself on exceptional communication and interpersonal skills You have a natural ability to analyze challenges proactively You are solution-oriented You understand the importance of handling confidential information in an ethical and professional manner Bonus Skills And Qualifications Payroll experience is preferred
