*Overview* We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented *Accounting Assistant* to support our finance team. The ideal candidate will have *3?5 years of local accounting experience*, a solid *accounting education background*, and hands-on knowledge of *debit and credit principles*. Experience in the *insurance industry* is highly preferred. Cantonese-speaking candidates will be an advantage. *Responsibilities* * Assist with daily accounting operations and data entry * Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable * Perform accurate debit and credit postings * Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment records * Assist with account reconciliation and month-end closing * Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and records * Support audits and prepare required accounting documents * Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned *Requirements* * *3?5 years of relevant local accounting experience* * *Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field* * Strong understanding of *accounting principles, debit and credit* * *Insurance company experience preferred* * Familiar with accounting software and MS Excel (TAM, Acturis system experience preferred) * Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines * *Cantonese *and English are required Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * Paid time off Education: * Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Experience: * Accounting: 1 year (required) Language: * Chinese (preferred) Work Location: In person
