What you’ll accomplish: Financial Reporting & Analysis Manage and oversee the consolidated month-end and year-end financial close processes Prepare and report accurate and timely monthly financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards Develop and deliver analyses supporting the variances to budget and prior periods, ensuring accuracy in financial statements Anticipate future trends, identify risks and opportunities, and proactively plan and/or implement mitigation strategies Review and evaluate cost reduction opportunities Provide analytical insights and recommendations to support senior leadership decision-making Maintain accounting policies and procedures and adhere to controls to safeguard company assets and reduce risk Manage financial performance, monitor project and operational budgets, analyze variances and forecast future needs Manage mid-year and year-end external audits and assist in addressing audit inquiries and ensuring compliance with audit requirements Team Leadership Lead and mentor accounting team of various levels of experience Champion accountability for data quality, forecasting and budgeting Identify and support opportunities for continuous improvement such as eliminating repetitive tasks and improving financial workflows through technology Fulfill all aspects of the Cigar Lake Administration Manager role, including: Consolidate and distribute financial information, coordinate JV partner correspondence and manage budget files Coordinate and support JV governance activities, including preparing and presenting materials and leading Audit Committee meetings Lead and promote Operational Excellence and OE culture within the Finance department Perform other tasks as required Comply with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices and procedures Promote and adhere to Orano’s Values: Safety and Security, Team Spirit and Cohesion, Continuous Improvement, Customer Satisfaction, Ethics, Transparency and Dialogue, Respect and People Development Qualifications and skills we’re seeking: Accounting Degree and CPA designation, with 10+ years relevant experience Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP is an asset Experience setting expectations, conducting performance reviews, providing feedback, and addressing performance issues Ability to foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment Effective planning and organization skills to coordinate efforts and meet deadlines Excellent time management skills and able to prioritize work effectively Demonstrated strength in verbal and written communication skills Proven analytical and leadership skills Cooperative and collaborative, able to work as part of a team Honest, ethical, and respects confidentiality Work Location & Travel: Saskatoon Corporate Office Occasional short trips to the various project sites as required Salary Range: $148,900 - $175,150 Compensation to be determined based on the selected candidate’s level of skill, education, and experience, and may vary within the posted salary range.
