Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Bilingual Broker Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for providing financial and administrative support to ensure the accurate processing of payments, collections, and broker account activities. This role supports brokers, insureds, and internal stakeholders across multiple regions and plays a key role in maintaining efficient accounts receivable operations while delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Process incoming payments and prepare bank deposits. Apply payments received for PAC (Pre-Authorized Chequing) and Direct Bill policies. Process banking changes, withdrawal date changes, and billing amendments. Manage returned payments (NSF) and perform required account follow-up. Prepare registered letters, lapse notices, and other account-related correspondence. Respond to inquiries from brokers, insureds, and underwriting teams. Assist with account reconciliation and collection activities. Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity. Support special projects and departmental initiatives as required. Qualifications Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written), as this role supports brokers, insureds, and internal stakeholders across Canada. Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in accounts receivable, accounting, insurance operations, or an administrative support role is considered an asset. Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong keyboarding and data entry skills. Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
