As the ideal candidate you possess a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting for large scale Development or Property Management Companies. You have proven skills in the implementation and application of budgetary controls for property management. You possess all the core competencies to perform this role as well as are able to multi-task and manage your time effectively.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintain General Ledgers with multi costs centers
Prepare monthly and year end working papers and reporting packages
Prepare annual CAM statements and financial statements
Prepare administrative and property budget files
Prepare operating budget variance analysis and reporting
Prepare monthly accruals and adjusting entries
Prepare bank reconciliations
Maintain job cost and capital budget
Record internal leasing fees
Maintain fixed asset module , including amortization of fixed assets
Prepare interim and year end annual audit files
Prepare partnership financial statements and reporting package on a monthly , quarterly and annual basis
Prepare monthly GST and PST reconciliations and related remittances
Review Accounts Payable coding
Assist in internal audit of centers
