The Digital HR team is currently seeking an energetic, disciplined and result-oriented leader. This role reports to the Director, Digital HR and has a cross-functional impact on multiple HR Services teams.

Position Description

The Senior Manager, Digital HR, will act as the liaison between the HR teams and IT on our projects for on premise HR technologies, as well as administer the HR tools under its responsibility. In particular, this leader’s portfolio includes all HR technologies to support Employee Services and COVID-19 programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, resourcing, overseeing activities, mitigating operational risks, delivering projects on time and on budget. The ideal candidate must be people-oriented with a strong technical understanding and with demonstrated project management and communication skills. The candidate must have a proven ability to impact and influence business decisions in a cross-functional team.

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Participate in the setting of objectives, strategies, roadmaps, plans, programs and performance measures for the improvement of SAP HCM (employee record & payroll) and Mediapulse (time entry)
  • Manage the day to day operations of our COVID-19 response processes in cloud technologies including Qualtrics and Thrive Health
  • Provide leadership to Digital HR projects with a focus on achieving goals, managing timelines, minimizing risks and delivering quality
  • Lead regular reviews with HR & IT stakeholders to prioritize enhancements, communicate impacts and address concerns related to the overall management of deliverables
  • Promote and maintain effective communications with HR partners to ensure clear understanding of all elements of complex solutions
  • Translate business requirements from Bell Employee Services team and other HR teams into clear and complete technical documentation to be submitted to Bell IT Delivery team
  • Lead Business User Acceptance Testing efforts to identify and classify all bugs and improvement ideas before launch of improvements
  • Partner with Bell IT, Corporate Security and Privacy to ensure solutions comply with corporate policies and projects go through required due diligence
  • Collaborate with other HR system owners to ensure line of sight to dependencies between systems
  • Identify trends in user experience issues, investigate root cause and develop strategies to eliminate issues

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources or a related discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience with SAP HCM On-Premise
  • At least 7 years of program management and/or project management with experience managing complex projects involving systems integration, application deployment and/or organization-wide implementations. PMP certification is an asset.
  • Bilingual (French and English)
  • Self-starter, strong positive, can-do attitude and ability to handle multiple concurrent projects in an organized manner with limited supervision
  • Proven ability to secure stakeholder buy-in to projects along with implementing the appropriate communication & change management process across the organization
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making at various levels of the organization to achieve a common goal quickly and effectively
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; demonstrated ability to grasp technical concepts and business workflows
  • Strong desire to help internal stakeholders and improve the employee experience


Bilingualism is required (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
