Description
As part of the regulations and professional standards applicable to the Corporation and its subsidiaries, ensure the respect and rigor of the frameworks and processes for the preparation and disclosure of consolidated financial information with respect to Investissement Québec and its management subsidiaries.

Main responsibilities:

Standards

  • Actively participate in the implementation of the new standards, in particular the analysis, the determination of the impacts of the changes of the IFRS norms as well on the financial level as on the disclosure of the financial information;
  • Participate in the development of accounting positions and the documentation of new major accounts investments (investments and loans) and other topics, in accordance with IFRS.

Financial reports

  • Participate in the review and application of controls related to the consolidation process of the Company's financial statements (equity method, subsidiaries, venture capital, etc.).

End of year

  • Participate in the updating of the financial statements according to the new financial disclosure requirements;
  • Participate in end-of-year audit mandates, preparation of the support file and communication with the auditors;
  • Participate in the preparation of the financial statements including the notes of the Parent Company;
  • Participate in the preparation and delivery of the financial section of the annual report.

Specific qualifications required:

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, accounting;
  • Hold an accounting designation of the Order of Chartered Professional Accountants CPA (CA);
  • Have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as a professional in the field;
  • Knowledge of the financial field is an asset;
  • Have excellent knowledge of IFRS standards
  • Good command of Word and Excel software.
