Specific accountabilities

The incumbent will contribute to various mandates within the Financing team. These mandates include the responsibility to update the database of all real estate financings in Ivanhoé Cambridge's portfolio. The incumbent will also be involved in the control of the wholeness and accuracy of the financial and management information of the database. The incumbent will participate in the process of analyzing and writing financing recommendations. The incumbent will be required to work with several teams, including treasury, asset management, investment, finance and portfolio management.

Main duties include:

  • Update the real estate financing database as transactions are completed;
  • Monitor financing and loans in the cash management system ("Finlogik");
  • Ensure coordination with the accounting department for payable and receivable accounts;
  • Monitor financial restrictions associated with financing and loans;
  • Read financing offers and identify the main terms;
  • Elaborate financing recommendations for approval;
  • As a point of contact for the Financing team, respond to internal requests regarding ongoing financing;
  • Document administrative and operational procedures related to financing activities;
  • Track ongoing financing projects for approbation, and ensure proper follow-up until closing;
  • Identify upcoming financing transactions and adjust tracking and forecasting files;
  • Handle requests from internal and external auditors;
  • Carry out any other related tasks requested by the immediate supervisor or required as part of the job.

Key requirements

  • College Diploma in administration (finance option);
  • 3-5 years of related experience;
  • Proven ability to work in a computerized environment;
  • Excellent command of Excel software (advanced level, knowledge of VBA an asset);
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, meticulous and self-motivated;
  • Team spirit and commitment to continuous quality improvement;
  • Bilingual (English and French).
