GardaWorld is currently looking for a Collection Analyst to work our Montreal offices.

Under the supervision of the Collection Director, your tasks will be:

  • Take charge of national, disputed or irrecoverable files from collectors
  • Communicate with customers to obtain overdue bill payments
  • Lead multidisciplinary meetings to address complex client account situations
  • Act as a consultant to the team
  • Recommend appropriate actions to recover accounts receivable. These actions may include, but are not limited to: legal proceedings, external recovery, etc.
  • Transmit the necessary documentation for files that require legal action
  • Collaborate with customer service, operations as needed
  • Provide management personnel with the requested information in a timely, clear and concise manner
  • Reconcile customer accounts including analysis of payment applications and credit notes
  • Perform all other tasks related to the position

Job requirements

  • College diploma in accounting or related field
  • Experience in collection, credit management or administration of accounts receivable
  • Bilingualism (oral and written)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel software
  • Knowledge of insolvency laws
  • Knowledge of Great Plains. (an advantage)
