As a financial performance advisor, you help design, institute, update, analyze and monitor strategies and solutions related to income and expense accounting. You take part in structuring and tracking financial results and disclosure, and you help improve the financial performance of the various entities in the Wealth Management sector served by the department.

You advise and assist clients and partners as part of intervention and development initiatives. You recommend solutions to improve or optimize standards, policies and programs. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work.

You prepare recommendations, solutions and action plans based on the organization's objectives and priorities. You help solve complex problems using your analytical skills and extensive knowledge of your line of business. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential.

Additional responsabilities

  • Diagnose issues, challenges and needs to determine target outcomes
  • Working jointly with the various sectors involved, record and analyze the results of certain Desjardins entities, in accordance with accounting and regulatory standards.
  • Perform analyses in connection with income and expenses.
  • Develop and help implement objectives, solutions and action plans
  • Analyze data, conduct studies, make recommendations and write reports.
  • Review and update practices, policies and procedures related to your line of business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in the accounting/financial sector (an asset)
  • Experience in wealth management (asset management, trusts, mutual funds, etc.) (an asset)

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Holding an accounting title CPA (an asset)
  • For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required

Specific knowledge

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
