Accounting Technician, IT department

As such, you will join the Finance-IT team whose mission is to ensure the accounting and procurement operations for the department. To this end, you will be responsible for managing the entire accounting cycle of internal and external business entities as well as the reconciliation of certain balance sheet accounts. In addition, you will assist the Department Manager in the month-end process, i.e. accruals, variance reports and reports to executives.

First and foremost, we are looking for a team player who is versatile, has good accounting knowledge and, above all, stands out for his or her customer service.

Tasks :

  • Verify, prepare and approve payment slips;
  • Perform the preparation and entry of journal entries;
  • Make monthly updates of certain accounting schedules;
  • Provide administrative support to accountants in the execution of clerical tasks;
  • Carry out the filing and distribution of various documents;
  • Assist the other members of the division for any specific mandate.
  • Daily verification of collection reports.

Requirements and Competencies:

  • DEP or DEC in accounting or equivalent;
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience;
  • Good knowledge of Excel;
  • Bilingual, French and English;
  • Comfortable in the operation of computerized accounting systems; Know how to manage priorities, maintain good relations with colleagues, demonstrate precision in data processing and autonomy. network
