Job Description

The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities, among others:

  • Record monthly accounting entries for suppliers (invoices and payments)

  • Record monthly accounting entries for sales (invoices and receipts)

  • Account for inter-company transactions

  • Prepare monthly bank and credit card reconciliations

  • Monitor accounts payable and ensure supplier terms are met

  • Manage the collection of customer payments

  • Balance monthly inventories and raw materials

  • Prepare various commission reports

  • Implement administrative and control procedures in collaboration with our Chief Financial Officer

  • Perform any other related tasks to achieve team goals

Your Experience

  • Excellent understanding of the accounting cycle

  • Experience with multi-company accounting (strongly desired)

  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience (mandatory)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English

  • Knowledge of SAGE software (an asset)

  • Intermediate Excel skills

  • Excellent organizational skills, versatility, attention to detail, and accuracy

  • Good judgment and respect for confidentiality

  • Ability to work quickly, independently or as part of a team, and meet tight deadlines
