The Accountant Manager is responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting records (including consolidation), compliance with procedures and accounting standards. He/she will also be responsible for maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) documentation and ensuring the application of controls. He/she will be the main link with our external auditors for the year-end file.

The main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Prepare the consolidated financial statements on a monthly basis, as well as the necessary accounting analyses.
  • Organize and direct the preparation of the financial statements of the head office departments. Carry out certain accounting tasks and special mandates for the head office and other entities.
  • Supervise the work and train head office accounting and treasury employees.
  • Support the head office departments in accounting analysis, budgeting and internal control.
  • Supervise and participate in the preparation of head office budgets
  • Participate in the preparation of consolidated budget reports
  • Implement the necessary controls and annual monitoring procedures.
  • Update SOX documentation

* Ensure that accounting standards and policies are understood and followed by all our accounting staff.


  • BBA, accounting option and an accounting designation;
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in an accounting position;
  • Experience in supervising staff (important asset);
  • Knowledge of accounting theory, consolidation and SOX.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS-Office;
  • Bilingualism in French and English, oral and written;
  • Excellent analytical skills, autonomy, ability to make quality decisions at the right time, understand the functioning of a company and master problem solving;
