Type of position: Regular

Responsibilities

As a member of the Finance and Accounting department, you will be required to:

  • Open projects in the ERP system and make budgetary adjustments during projects.
  • Check conformity among proposals, contracts, purchase orders and system settings.
  • Close projects.
  • Coordinate steps for the invoicing process.
  • Print invoices and send them according to client specifications.
  • Prepare supporting documents and attach them to the invoice for sending.
  • Manage the common email Inbox, in collaboration with the team.
  • Provide support to the Accounts Receivable team.
  • Perform any other administrative support functions, as requested.
  • Work with the project teams and client account managers on a daily basis
  • Occasionally participate in optimizing the billing process.

Requirements

  • Attestation of college studies (ACS) or college diploma in Accounting
  • Three to five years of experience as an accounting technician or billing technician
  • Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
  • Asset: knowledge of an ERP system, like Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Asset: experience in a professional services firm
  • Asset: mastery of Spanish (spoken and written)
  • Asset: experience as a team leader
