As you take part in accounting operations, our client is taking care of you and continues to lead their team towards the success of their products: space travel, treatment centres for the most infectious diseases or nuclear safety. Acting as an accounting technician means making your place in a team that does things big.

For more than 50 years now, our client has been recognized as much for their solutions in terms of air filtration as the attention directed to the well-being of their employees. Everyone takes part in a certain way in the mission to offer products and services aimed at better air quality not only for their customers but also for the whole planet. The regional offices located in Laval are just waiting to meet the new member of their team!

  • Follow up on outstanding accounts and make collection calls to clients.
  • Perform credit analysis when required.
  • Support your colleague in accounts payable with their day-to-day tasks, including coding invoices and opening accounts payable.

Benefits:

  • Range of fringe benefits paid 66% at the end of the probationary period.
  • Defined contribution pension fund up to 4.5% with employer contribution.
  • Hybrid mode: telework after training.
  • Flexible schedule with a total of 3 weeks of vacation and 13 statutory holidays.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an accounting clerk, combining accounts payable and receivable management.
  • Accounting certification (DCS, ACS, DVS or Accounting Certificate) or any other equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, especially with Excel.
  • Perfectly bilingual – 80% of documentation, email exchanges or conversation will be in English.

The ideal candidate:

  • One file, two files, three files – no matter how many, you can manage them simultaneously.
  • You are known for quick and effective problem solving.
  • You have a work structure that allows you to follow up closely on each of your files.
  • You keep a detailed calendar of your schedules (bonus if you include colour codes).
  • Whether on the phone or in the office, you know how to develop good interpersonal relationships.
