MANDATE

The employee is responsible for carrying out accrual accounting for all of the firm's clients and providing support to the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Perform complete bookkeeping including closing entries for accounting books and reconciliation of registers for all customers;
  •  Prepare and produce payroll using Simple Construc software;
  •  Perform monthly bank reconciliations as well as account analyzes and variances; 
  •  Perform government remittances (DAS, CCQ, TPS TVQ, parity committee);
  •  Produce legal documents relating to employees (T4, T4A, T2200, record of employment);
  •  Follow up on files with government authorities;
  •  Participate in the preparation and monitoring of personal tax declarations;
  •  Prepare and transmit various accounting reports;
  •  Collaborate on different tasks in order to support the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  •  3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
  •  Professional diploma in accounting, technical DEC (cegep) or any other relevant training;
  •  Proficient with Xero software, Quickbooks online and Sage 50, Taxprep particular and Taxforms;
  •  Knowledge of payroll and the complete accounting cycle;
  •  Mastery of the MS Office suite;
  •  Very good oral and written French;
  •  English intermediate level.

REQUIRED PROFILE

  •  Rigor, thoroughness and good management of priorities;
  •  Speed ​​of execution, with an excellent sense of organization;
  •  Autonomous and able to manage more files at the same time;
  •  developed Skills for Customer Service;
  •  Very good spirit and teamwork.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT and BENEFITS

  •  Permanent, full-time position. Possibility of 4 days a week;
  •  Flexible schedule for a work-family balance of 30 to 40 hours per week;
  •  Be available to work on Saturdays from February to April during tax period;
  •  Group insurance paid at 50% by the employer;
  •  Training available within the company.
