Currently auditioning for: Financial Analyst
What you will do:
Participate in month-end & year-end close activities to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks, including the preparation of accounts receivable reports, accounting schedules and financial allocation models.
Perform various financial analyses with the ability to manipulate and maintain complex and large financial models and databases.
Assist with periodic forecast and budget updates for management.
Assist in the preparation of the annual financial information materials to be provided to auditors.
Prepare specific third-party reporting (EPRA, EEQ, and MMBC) and communicate the related information
Actively involved in process documentation and improvement.
Perform internal audit tasks for specific segments of the company's financial operations.
Perform general ad-hoc analysis as required
What we are looking for:
Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, economics or equivalent
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail and accuracy
Good knowledge of Canadian GAAP and financial statements
Experience in internal audit functions is an asset
Good team player and ability to collaborate efficiently
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills: Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills and be comfortable working with large amount of data from multiple sources to build reports using advanced functions.
Experience with JD Edwards – Enterprise One® ERP software, Power BI and Hubble would be an asset.
Good knowledge of data mining tools
Effective Communication Skills (Written & Verbal) in English and French
Deadline driven, with the ability to adapt easily to change
