Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the Global Transaction Banking strategy in the Caribbean & Central America ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
The Senior Manager Payments, CCA is accountable for the overall payment products strategy formulation and implementation of GTB related product mix, value added functionality and delivery of the service across Corporate, Commercial and Small Business Banking segments across the Caribbean and Central America. The incumbent is also responsible for maintaining product/portfolio competitiveness while identifying opportunities for business development to drive sustainable growth, achieving fair market share, ensuring sales process are efficient, adequate product pricing (maximizing profits), monitor monthly product P & L reporting, and business line profitability across segments. This role requires strong written business case writing skills, strong communication skills, project execution skills, marketing experience, and people management experience.
In fulfilling the role, the incumbent will be supporting the creation and enhancement of global technology products. This will require them to be able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional global team, focused specifically on the Caribbean and Central America regions. The incumbent will work closely with key internal Partners (e.g., Information Technology, Security, Control Functions and other business partners) and external partners such as third-party vendors, suppliers and consultants as needed to lead, co-lead and/or support the development of digital business banking solutions and ultimately contribute to the achievement of the International Banking Deposit strategy objectives. Strong leadership, negotiation, change management and strategic influencing skills across multiple levels of the organization will be required to successfully execute based on the collective needs of all stakeholders.
