Eclipsys Solutions Inc is seeking a Bookkeeper to join our Ottawa office!

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs general bookkeeping and payroll duties including, preparing payroll for multiple companies, accounts receivable, bank deposits & reconciliations, accounts payable and other payments;
  • Performs clerical and other related duties as required;
  • Prepares and maintains Receiver General, WCB, MSP, employee benefits and other mandatory remittances;
  • Provides administrative support duties for company executives;
  • Other duties as required.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate a computerized accounting and payroll system;
  • Good time management skills and the ability to anticipate and manage a changing workflow;

  • Strong computer, analytical and mathematical skills;
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrated administrative and organizational skills;
  • Demonstrated effective communication and problem solving skills;
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems;
  • Must be able to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner;
  • Bilingualism an asset


  • Minimum 2-year diploma in a related field, with a second year accounting/payroll designation and minimum 2 years bookkeeping and payroll experience;
  • Must have excellent computer skills and willingness to upgrade computer skills, as required;
  • Experience using Ceridian, Expensify, and Netsuite would be considered an asset
  • Must be able to attain Government of Canada Security Clearance network
