We are looking for a dynamic, outgoing individual for the role of Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist. Reporting to our Manager Finance, and working as a member of our AP team, this role is responsible to provide day-to-day accounts payable expertise for all financial transactions for Accora Village. Expectations are that this individual will ensure financial processes are followed, helping to meet the highest quality assurance standards and financial goals set for the organization.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Education and Experience
Knowledge of general accounting procedures and accounts payable gained through a combination of postsecondary education and 5 years' experience;
Experience with accounting software ideally Yardi; (Yardi Voyager ,PayScan and Excell knowledge is an asset)
Proficient in data entry and management;
Attention to detail, and problem solving skills;
A commitment to deliver the highest quality customer experience;
Ability to deal with tight deadlines and work under pressure;
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures accompanied by strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
