Contributes to the overall success of the Adjudication Centre of Expertise ACE / Global Operations in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
ACE's role is to review credit applications requiring an exception for Retail Branches, Private Banking, Indirect Mortgage and Indirect Auto, Small Business (Branch, Health Care & Professional Banking, and Agriculture). ACE enables a superior credit adjudication experience for customers, employees, and partners that is aligned to the Risk Framework of the Bank.
The Small Business Manager, Credit Risk is responsible for exercising sound credit judgement, and providing quality underwriting decisions for small business credit requests. The Manager is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective use of resources to ensure consistent and timely decisions that deliver a high quality of customer service and adhere to Bank policy and established exception authorities, while balancing production objectives. There are no direct reports, this is an Individual Contributor role.
