Crunch Fitness Canada Inc. is a fast growing company that's head office is located in Cambridge, ON, with expansion across Canada. Crunch is currently looking for Accounting Clerk to join its small finance team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with potential for bonus based performance pay. The position involves processing and managing invoices in a high paced, fun environment. We are looking for positive, energetic people who want to work in a team environment!

Essential Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

  • Manage receipt to payment process for all types of payables for all clubs.
  • Process credit notes, adjustments, return cheques on a timely basis.
  • Manage vendor queries as well as AP subledger per company policy.
  • Maintain up-to-date vendor list

Accounts Receivable

  • Invoice services rendered to franchise clubs
  • Issue recharges to intercompany clubs
  • Collect outstanding receivables**
  • Reconcile subledger as needed.

Miscellaneous

  • Prepare and maintain accounting files, records and reports.
  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
  • Provide assistance and support to company personnel as needed
  • Help with notice to readers and combined audit requirements with external accounting firm

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 plus years experience in A/P, A/R
  • QuickBooks knowledge an asset
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Ability to effectively and courteously communicate written and verbal information
