basic knowledge of general accounting and procedures
good knowledge of and in particular, Simply Accounting/Sage, Microsoft Office, Excel
preparing payroll and source deductions, Workers Comp remittances, statutory declarations, ROE and T-4's
preparing bank deposits and pay credit card payments and bills on time
gathering and update project data during project execution
answering calls and directing accordingly
administrative support (photo copies, filing, emails etc.)
managing mail on a daily basis
ability to learn quickly, be self motivated and self reliant
exceptional organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
an understanding and respect for confidentiality and the ability to uphold this
a proven level of accuracy and attention to detail
a minimum of 5 years experience
proficiency in English, both spoken and written
