Responsibilities Process bill payments within the budget Monitor cash flow and liaise with bank Review expenses and handle employee reimbursements Prepare and file PST and GST returns Perform month-end closing procedures Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis Assist with budget preparation and monitoring Aid in internal & external audit process Cover for colleagues during vacations Address other financial reporting needs as required Collaborate on reporting with our team in China. Proficiency in a Chinese language is considered an asset to enhance communication Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field CPA designation or nearing completion is an asset 3-5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance; experience in technology industry is advantageous 3 years of tax experience is an asset Hands-on full cycle accounting experience is preferred Knowledge & experience on financial reporting and budgeting Advanced Excel skills (e.g. Queries, V-lookups, Pivot Tables, Dashboards) are preferred Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Ability to take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines We thank you for your interest, however, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
