Job Summary Accountant is responsible for various accounting related duties & responsibilities, and general analytics for the department. Achieve departmental and company goals (SQCD). Reports to: Senior Manager, Finance Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment preferred SAP experience is preferred Microsoft Office experience with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel Experience in fast paced, high volume environment Able to travel occasionally for business activities Job Responsibilities: Assist in month end financial statement preparation and related analytics Assist in accurate month end reporting by deadline Assist in budget preparation and related analytics Accurate and timely customer and intercompany invoicing Customer master information maintenance with accuracy Maintain accurate pricing and other master date in the system in coordination with sales department Apply customer payments on timely basis with accuracy Prepare and review AR aging for follow up actions Prepare AR statements with a follow up with customers Payroll accounting and related analytics and processing functions Actively involved in meeting departmental goals Comply with J-Sox requirements, and company standards, policies and procedure Efficiency improvements Perform other related duties as required Musashi Expectations Company Standards: Uphold company policies Follow all safety procedures & instructions Actively involved in company and department goals Follow Musashi’s “5S” principles, quality, environmental, and health & safety systems Interact with all Musashi working peers in a respectful manner Personal Skills: Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and analytical skills Demonstrate excellent verbal & written communication skills Flexible & adaptable in a complex & changing work environment, while meeting deadlines Self-motivated, Strong work ethics, a positive attitude, and a team player Exceptional abilities to handle high volume and meet demanding deadlines Please note: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the associate for this job. Requirements
