MSH Americas is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate, Member Payments to join our Finance team on contractural basis. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring timely and accurate claims payments while supporting day-to-day accounting operations. What You'll Be Doing As an Accounting Associate, Member Payments, you will: Process and support high-volume claims payments from multiple trust bank accounts Ensure claims are properly integrated, batched, and posted within accounting systems Review and process claim payment voids and stop payment requests Assist the Claims team by investigating and resolving payment-related inquiries Maintain accurate financial records and payment documentation Identify discrepancies in claims payment data and collaborate with internal teams to resolve them Print, process, and distribute claim cheques and supporting documents, including Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) Support the sorting and handling of returned mail and cheques Update and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Complete daily KPI tracking and reporting Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in an accounting, accounts payable, claims payment, or related role Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Sound judgment and proactive problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and software Nice to Have Experience within the insurance industry, brokerage, or managing general agency environment Experience processing a high volume of payments daily What's In It for You Salary Range: 45-50k CAD annually + Variable Bonus (Final compensation will reflect the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications) Hybrid work environment, Monday to Friday, standard hours Laptop provided A collaborative team environment with real ownership from day one Inclusive, supportive leadership that genuinely invests in your success MSH is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive, barrier-free recruitment process.
