Role Description The Accounting Administrator is a full-time, on-site position in Mississauga, ON, responsible for day-to-day accounting and general office administration. The role includes AP/AR, invoicing, vendor payments, journal entries, bank and ledger reconciliations, expense management, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end support. The position will also coordinate with internal teams and external accounting partners and support the efficient operation of th e office. Key Responsibilities * Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable * Process customer invoices, vendor invoices, expense reports and payments * Perform bank, credit-card and general ledger reconciliations * Prepare and post journal entries * Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records * Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances * Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities * Prepare financial reports, schedules and analysis for management * Support payroll administration and related records * Coordinate with external accountants and advisors * Provide documentation and support for tax filings, audits and financial reporting * Ensure transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with company policies * Provide general office administration and administrative support as required Qualifications * Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on accounting/bookkeeping experience — REQUIRED * Strong experience managing AP, AR and account reconciliations * Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statements * Working knowledge of Canadian federal and provincial tax requirements — REQUIRED * Experience supporting month-end and year-end closing * Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop — REQUIRED * Strong Microsoft Excel skills * Experience working with external accountants is an asset * Payroll experience - REQUIRED * Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field preferred * Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy * Professional written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple deadlines * Previous experience in a small-to-medium-sized business environment preferred * Must be comfortable working full-time, on-site in Mississauga, ON
