Job summary

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Payroll Project Intern to join our HR/Payroll Team. This role is designed for a new graduate or a student currently enrolled in a post-secondary work-integrated learning program in business administration, HR, Project Management, or a related field. This role provides the right candidate with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR operations, project coordination, and process improvement within a dynamic corporate environment. Responsibilities Assist in tracking project deliverables, timelines, and tasks to ensure successful implementation of HR projects. Schedule and coordinate project meetings. Maintain organized project documentation and records for reference and compliance purposes. Assist in drafting project communications, memos, and updates for stakeholders. Field HR and project-related questions, forward them to the appropriate contacts, and track responses to ensure timely follow-up. Create clear documentation and reference guides for payroll, outlining system access requirements for new hires based on role and department. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support testing and rollout activities. Provide administrative support to the HR Project Manager and project team. Support reporting by collecting and analyzing project-related data as needed. Contribute ideas and recommendations to enhance project efficiency and communication. Other tasks as assigned. Qualifications New graduate or a student enrolled in a post-secondary work-integrated learning program in Human Resources, Project Management, Business, or a related field. Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Interest in Human Resources, Payroll, and/or Project Management.
