A rapidly growing manufacturing organization is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Finance Manager to join its finance leadership team. This role offers a unique blend of people leadership, financial reporting, process improvement, and business partnering, making it ideal for an experienced accounting professional looking to drive operational and financial performance. About the Role Reporting to a senior finance executive, this position is responsible for overseeing accounts receivable operations, supporting financial reporting and month-end activities, managing capital expenditure tracking, and providing financial analysis to business leaders. The successful candidate will play a key role in process optimization, team development, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple business units. What You'll Do Lead and mentor a high-performing accounts receivable team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement Oversee invoicing, collections, account reconciliations, and resolution of customer account discrepancies Identify opportunities to improve accounts receivable processes, cash flow, and working capital performance Prepare monthly accounts receivable reconciliations and investigate variances Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and financial reporting requirements Assist with annual audit preparation and provide supporting schedules and documentation Monitor capital expenditure budgets, asset tracking, depreciation, and related financial reporting Prepare forecasts, budget updates, and management reports related to operational and capital spending Analyze workforce and operating costs, providing meaningful insights and recommendations to leadership Prepare financial presentations and reporting packages for senior management Partner with operational and purchasing teams to monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and explain budget variances Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements Participate in process improvement initiatives and other special projects as required What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline CPA designation or active pursuit of a professional accounting designation is considered an asset 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience Previous people leadership or supervisory experience Strong understanding of accounts receivable, financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial analysis Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, reporting, and data analysis Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence Why Join This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding organization where you'll have direct exposure to leadership, influence key financial processes, and contribute to strategic business decisions.
