About the Role Reporting to senior leadership, you'll partner with privately owned businesses and their advisors to develop customized strategies around business succession, tax planning, ownership transitions, and long-term financial success. Rather than focusing primarily on compliance work, you'll apply your technical expertise to deliver meaningful advisory solutions and build trusted client relationships. What You'll Do Advise clients on business succession, ownership transitions, and long-term planning strategies Develop tax planning recommendations tailored to clients' financial and business goals Collaborate with accountants, legal professionals, and other advisors to implement strategic solutions Analyze complex financial situations, identify opportunities and risks, and provide practical recommendations Build strong, long-term relationships with business owners and key stakeholders Participate in client meetings and contribute to the planning and execution of advisory engagements Stay informed on tax legislation and industry developments to support high-quality client advice What You'll Bring CPA designation (or recently designated CPA) Experience in public accounting, ideally at the Senior Accountant or early Manager level Strong Canadian tax knowledge and experience working with private or owner-managed businesses Previous exposure to advisory, business planning, or succession planning is considered an asset Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills A consultative mindset with a passion for solving complex business challenges Ability to manage multiple client engagements while working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders Why Join This role offers the opportunity to transition from traditional compliance work into a rewarding advisory career where you'll have a direct impact on clients' long-term success.
