Role: Accountant (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $90 - $100/hour Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an Accountant (US Experience) to work on a contract basis. The role involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance with US accounting standards, and supporting month-end close processes. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with US GAAP. • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. • Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proficiency in US GAAP and financial reporting standards is required. • Experience with month-end close processes and reconciliation tasks. • Strong knowledge of tax compliance requirements for US-based entities. • Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
